Built for the Hill Country
We started Lambda Drone Services because we knew the land out here deserved to be seen from above — and the people who work it deserved better tools to show it off.
Our Story
Lambda Drone Services was founded by a Texas native who spent years learning to get just the right shot from the air. Watching real estate agents struggle to show the full scale and character of a Texas ranch property with ground-level photos. A 200-acre spread with a spring-fed creek, cedar-cleared pastures, and a ridge-top view deserves more than a smartphone shot from the gate.
Based out of Kerrville. We started flying commercially in 2024 and have since documented properties across Kerr, Kendall, Bandera, Gillespie, Kimble, and Real Counties. Our clients are real estate agents, land developers, and property owners who need aerial imagery that actually sells — or tells the story of a project from start to finish.
Every flight is planned, every shot is intentional, and every deliverable is edited and in your hands within 48 hours. We're not a national drone company with a contractor network. We're local, we know the terrain, and we show up.
Certified & Insured
We take the regulatory side seriously so you don't have to think about it.
FAA Part 107 Certificated
Every pilot holds a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate — the commercial drone license required by federal law for paid aerial work.
Fully Insured
We carry commercial drone liability insurance on every flight. Your property and your project are covered.
Airspace Authorized
We handle all airspace authorization requests through the FAA LAANC system, including controlled airspace near airports in the Hill Country region. If a waiver is required, this may delay the mission until the waiver is received.
4K Equipment (Thermal capability coming soon)
We fly professional-grade drones with 4K cameras, rolling shutters, and 3-axis gimbal stabilization for sharp, stable imagery in any conditions. Thermal inspections for solar, roofing, and crops coming soon!
Where We Fly
We serve the Texas Hill Country exclusively — which means we know the terrain, the light, and the best time of day to fly every county we cover.
Common Questions
Do I need to do anything to prepare for a drone shoot?+
Not much. We just ask that you let us know about any structures, livestock, or access restrictions on the property ahead of time. We handle all the flight planning, airspace checks, and weather monitoring.
What happens if the weather is bad on shoot day?+
We monitor conditions closely and will reach out to reschedule if wind, rain, or low visibility would affect image quality. There's no charge for weather rescheduling.
How do I receive my photos and video?+
Deliverables are sent via a private download link within 48 hours of the shoot. Files are provided in web-ready and full-resolution formats.
Can you fly over neighboring properties?+
We stay within the boundaries of the subject property or obtain appropriate permissions before flying over adjacent land. We follow all FAA regulations and respect property rights.
Do you offer rush turnaround?+
In most cases, yes. Contact us before booking and we'll let you know if same-day or next-morning delivery is available for your project.
